His method is that you work on a task for 25 minutes, then take a break of five minutes, start again for another three of these 25 &#8211; 5 minutes sessions and then take a 30 minutes break. You can apply his method just like that or add a few extra rules and sheets to prepare and track what you do. Why pomodoro ? Because the time-tracker he had was a kitchen timer shaped like a tomato. It&#8217;s that simple.
