Women holding things, from a book to the entire world, in their hands or on their shoulders. Souvenirs and thoughts coupled with paintings by Maira of women, anonymous, her family or famous. Virginia Woolf barely holding together, Kiki Smith holding honey in her garden, Esme holding table, glamourous woman holding a can of worms. A very touching book on womanhood with a piece of intelligent advice at the end. As much as we have to hold on, we mustn&#8217;t forget to sometimes&#8230; let go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;What do women hold?<br><br>The home and the family.<br>And the children and the food.
