She has just married a man who already has a child and is trying to settle into this new role, believing that she can be happy. However, the information about the death of the mother&#8217;s child is vague and contradictory. And Abby sees Lady Grey, a knight and dragons returning in her dreams. All this gradually becomes tangled up and bizarre, culminating in a horrific ending. Beautifully drawn, this graphic novel alternates black and white drawings for Abby&#8217;s real life and brightly coloured pages for her fears and dreams\u2026 pages that slowly blend together throughout the story. It&#8217;s a strange story, but fascinating and beautiful to look at.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8220;At night, every noise could be her.<br>I know she&#8217;s here now, right now, even though<br>she won&#8217;t show herself to me.<br>(I tried to find her the other night, <br>down by the front door like before,<br>but nothing came to greet me this time.)<br>And I just can&#8217;t shake the feeling&#8230; <br>&#8230;that there&#8217;s a guest in the house,<br>and I am being a terrible hostess.<br>Because now I hide from her,<br>buried beneath my blankets every night,<br>not even letting a scrap of skin show<br>above my covers.<br>Like I&#8217;m a child armouring myself<br>against a visiting witch. <br>I sweat.
