Three young girls are left to fend for themselves on a snowy day, with only a neighbour across the field for company; a young bride discovers the women who came before her; a friend is haunted by a white halo; a sister-in-law is not quite what she seems; and finally, Red Riding Hood, in a scary version of the tale. The stories are pretty gory and scary, but the drawings are wonderful, red everywhere, sharp teeth and angular fingers. A little moment of fear sitting on my sofa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I MARRIED my LOVE in the SPRINGTIME, but by SUMMER HE&#8217;D LOCKED ME away. HE&#8217;D MURDERED me dead by the AUTUMN &amp; by WINTER I was NAUGHT BUT DECAY.
