This awakens her body and mind, opening her up to the rest of her life, perhaps a liberated one. I saw this book everywhere, so I picked it up thinking that I really had to read it. I was a little surprised by the beginning; some scenes are very descriptive of the two characters’ bodies. However, the novel unfolds to reveal a story about women held back by societal conventions and the tough experience of ageing that we will all go through. It’s was not 100% relatable, but it offers interesting insights into womanhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
