The author emphasizes that no special artistic or scientific skills are needed &#8211; only the ability to slow down, look closely, and notice. The book combines clear drawing guidance, observation prompts, and examples from the author&#8217;s own long-kept journals, encouraging readers to record their experiences wherever they are and to build a deeper, more mindful relationship with nature. I really liked this book for its warmth, accessibility, and its ability to make you want to step outside and start observing right away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8220;Nature journaling can be done just about anywhere, indoors or out. Wherever there is something living, you can begin to observe. You may feel, &#8220;How can I begin observing nature? I don&#8217;t know the answers to any questions. I don&#8217;t even know what questions to ask.&#8221; We were all once beginners, barely knowing a robin from a sparrow.
