Louisa Clark, a quirky young woman, becomes the carer of Will Traynor, a wealthy and cynical man left quadriplegic after an accident. As they grow closer, Louisa slowly brings warmth and humour back into Will’s life, while he encourages her to aspire to greater things. The story is gripping, and it is impossible not to hope for the best for Louisa and everyone else right until the end. Although this novel could be seen as a banal romance, it explores disability, dignity and the difficult choices people make about their own lives in a very interesting way. I was impressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
