The monster drawings are made with a simple fine liner, while the parts about Fran\u2019s life use graphite pencil. Both styles are beautiful and work really well together. There is a lot to learn from the illustrations, especially for anyone interested in drawing. It is also a very interesting and amusing book about monsters and folklore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
