While browsing books and images about urban sketching and sketching on the go, I came across some of Shari Blaukopf\u2019s artwork and really liked her style. I realised that she also offers courses that seem to address some of the questions I have about watercolour. After taking her short course on her favorite plein air tools, I started this one about her preferred palette. It was really interesting to see which colours she works with and how she mixes them, and very instructive when it comes to building a palette with six, twelve, or eighteen colours. She also explains how to compare colours between different brands\u2014something very simple, in fact, but something I had never thought about before. I\u2019m definitely going to try some more of Shari Blaukopf\u2019s courses!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
