Cet herbier a toute une histoire : bien que son existence soit connue, il avait disparu en 1976, puis a refait surface en 2024, date \u00e0 laquelle le Jardin botanique de Gen\u00e8ve en a fait l&#8217;acquisition. Il se compose de 100 planches, en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 99, de plantes diverses, surtout des plantes indig\u00e8nes poussant autour de Paris. L&#8217;herbier est pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 d&#8217;un catalogue qui recense le nom binominal en latin (esp\u00e8ce, genre) mis en place par Linn\u00e9, un nom latin pr\u00e9linn\u00e9en du botaniste Joseph Pitton de Tournefort, ainsi qu&#8217;un ou deux noms vernaculaires fran\u00e7ais publi\u00e9s par Barbeu de Bourg, voire invent\u00e9s par Rousseau. Cet herbier est un objet magnifique qui a toute sa place au Jardin botanique. Il sera probablement peu visible, car tr\u00e8s fragile, mais c&#8217;\u00e9tait une belle occasion de pouvoir le voir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u00abPour bien reconnaitre une plante, il faut commencer par la voir sur pied.
