Ashitaka quitte son village pour chercher un rem\u00e8de et se retrouve pris dans une guerre entre San, la princesse Mononok\u00e9, et sa for\u00eat magique et dame Eboshi qui veut d\u00e9truire cette for\u00eat et tuer le Dieu-Cerf. Le film atteint un paroxysme quand dame Eboshi d\u00e9capite le Dieu-Cerf qui devient une sorte d&#8217;ectoplasme qui tue tout ce qu&#8217;il touche, d\u00e9truisant la nature alentour. L&#8217;historie finit sur une note d&#8217;espoir mais ce passage-l\u00e0 o\u00f9 meurent aussi le grand loup blanc et le sanglier g\u00e9ant est d\u00e9chirant de tristesse. Une magnifique all\u00e9gorie \u00e0 la nature et au pouvoir destructeur de l&#8217;\u00eatre humain.
