Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is a Nigerian writer. She is a feminist and fights for LGBT rights in Nigeria and Africa. Her texts have all been nominated or won prizes. A few controversies as to her opinions have emerged throughout the years after her speaking publicly on trans women and supporting J. K. Rowling’s article on sex and gender. I really like her feminist texts and even better when she does lectures with them because then her nice sense of humour shines through.
