Hayao Miyazaki is a Japanese animator, director, producer, screenwriter and manga artist. He is the co-founder of the Ghibli studios. The recurrent themes of Miyazaki’s films are close to my heart : love and family, feminism, nature and especially looking after it. Most of his films have a young girl as the main character, fearless, self-sufficient, able to fight for her beliefs. These films are little moments of happiness, family moments that I hope to be able to preserve.
