Ian McEwan is a British writer. He is an important figure in the British literary world and appeared on the Times list of “50 Greatest British Writers since 1945”. His short stories are quite dark. His novels can have this classical romantic touch or be more futuristic and weird. Most of his books have become very nice films… Oh, I have just found a new list of films to look at. I read his novels, shorts stories and children’s books but do not feel like reading the plays, the screenplays or the film adaptations from his books.
