I discovered Peter May because he is a crime writer and I started with his China Thrillers quite a few years ago. I rediscovered home with the Lewis Trilogy and a project around these novels where maybe I could have met him. But these days, life and projects are unpredictable… I like the fact that he writes series though the standalone novels that I have read were also captivating. I feel very attached to the Scotland that oozes through his books and those outstanding landscapes that can be seen in his photo book.
