This film seems to me like British food. You have to be brought up with it to like it. It is a half live-action, a half animated movie with songs where Tom, a chimney sweep, discovers an underworld full of bizarre creatures, particularly a Scottish lobster. Some characters in the film are drunk, and Tom gets repeatedly beaten. I should have seen this film when I was young to appreciate it fully.
