After preventing an attack on tech guru Anton Burrell, Franklin finds a ring that allows him to travel 57 seconds into the past. The drug company responsible for his sister’s death is the target of Franklin’s revenge. Still, he also uses it for his gain, like cheating at roulette in a casino with the ring and winning Jala’s love by repeatedly going back in time to perfect their interactions. The film criticizes the pharmaceutical industry by referencing the opioid crisis but also all the technological advancements intended to enhance the quality of life for all. The script is good, but the film is a little flimsy. Good for an aeroplane trip.
