Clarence Worley, a comic book store clerk and fan of Elvis, and Alabama, a call-girl, fall in love and impulsively get married. They accidentally come into possession of a suitcase full of cocaine and decide to sell it in Hollywood to start a new life together. However, their plan draws the attention of both the mafia and the police, leading to a series of violent and chaotic events, ending in a bloodbath where everybody dies… apart from Clarence and Alabama. The film was written by Quentin Tarantino before he made his “Reservoir Dog”, and his signature is obvious, dark humour and stylized violence. There are quite a lot of very well-known actors, some of them appearing for just two minutes : Patricia Arquette, Christian SLater, Dennis Hopper, Val Kilmer, Gary Oldman, Brad Pitt, and Christopher Walken. An enjoyable romance crime film.
