Harry, Ron and Hermione continue their quest to destroy Voldemort’s remaining Horcruxes. Their journey takes them back to Hogwarts, where a final battle is fought between Voldemort’s forces and the defenders of the school. Harry learns that he himself is a Horcrux and sacrifices himself to Voldemort, but survives. In the climactic showdown, Harry defeats Voldemort after destroying the last Horcruxes. The story ends with peace restored to the wizarding world. I just found the glimpse into the future with Harry, Ron and Hermione and their children a little superfluous, but still a perfect last episode.
