Un ciné-concert autour du film Psychose d’Hitchcock qui date de 1960. Marion Crane vole une grosse somme d’argent et s’enfuit pour rejoindre son amant. En chemin, elle s’arrête au Bates Motel, tenu par Norman Bates, un jeune homme mystérieux et troublé. Marion est brutalement assassinée dans la douche, la scène mythique du film. L’OSR joue la musique du film en formation classique avec vingt-trois cordes. Un film prenant que je crois n’avoir jamais vu et une musique ad hoc jouée live, pour une belle soirée.

– People never really run away from anything. The rain didn’t last long, did it? You know what I think? I think that we’re all in our private traps, clamped in them, and none of us can ever get out. We scratch and we claw, but only at the air, only at each other, and for all of it, we never budge an inch.
– Sometimes we deliberately step into those traps.
– I was born in mine. I don’t mind it anymore.”
