The Mitchells are an unusual family. They all have the characteristics of neurodivergent people, and they suffer from not seeming ‘normal’ and not being able to integrate like others. Even their dog is weird. Then, when PAL, an AI virtual assistant, is deemed obsolete by her creator and replaced with new robots, she seeks revenge by ordering the robots to capture all humans and launch them into space. Who will succeed in saving the world? This is a charming film that promotes diversity and the importance of family bonds. It’s a nice film to watch… with family.
