Through 24 projects, it teaches how to build a narrative – often rooted in past experiences, though the techniques can easily be adapted to whatever you wish to express. From creating your own sketchbook to exploring materials and an impressive range of original techniques, the book is both inspiring and deeply practical. It is a genuine pleasure to look at and to read from beginning to end. I also appreciated its insistence on the idea that there is no right or wrong, no mistakes—only the encouragement to get started and keep going. I really loved this book.
