This little book is a practical guide to help readers simply jump into urban sketching. It shows how working with limited time, simple tools, and a few techniques can still lead to beautiful drawings. The author takes us through his materials, his way of sketching on location, and the small tips and tricks he uses along the way. His main message is simple: “Get out there and draw… think later.” His style is not exactly what I am trying to achieve, but it is always fascinating to see how other artists approach sketching and what methods they use. I always finish these books with a few new ideas and a renewed motivation. Now I just need to get outside and draw!
