There is a severe drought in a rural part of New Zealand, never seen before. The adults seem to do nothing, so the children act. A young girl, a violin virtuoso, decides to have a convert at the top of a hill with only the children. They have to come with a jar of water mixed with a real tear. The content of these jars is mixed and every child has to drink some of it. We see the clouds accumulating but never know if it rains. A manifest for the environment seen through children’s eyes.
“We, Sam, me, and Sharmilla, are really furious against all the selfish idiot grown-ups that just use everything up, not caring for us and squirting on their hairspray when they know it’s harming our atmosphere and creating global warming”
