A novella and three short stories set in Fjällbacka. The novella is a remake of “And Then There Were None”, a family on an island to celebrate Christmas, a storm that traps them there, and suddenly a corpse in the library. Pleasant to read. The short stories are also fun, with a little twist at the end of all of them. I particularly liked the irony in “An Elegant Death” and the whole concept of “The Widows’ café”.

“But it wouldn’t be the same. Something new could not become something old. Something that had been destroyed could never be whole again.”
