Devon is worried about her sister, Simone, who lives on an island and works as an assistant to Michaela Kell in what seems to be a toxic relationship. When Devon tries to intervene, she uncovers complex friendships, gloomy stories about murder and strange behaviour. I watched this series in one go while sitting on a plane. It is witty and intriguing, and I’m not sure that we really got to the bottom of the story, especially regarding who was manipulating whom. I think Julianne Moore is perfect as Michaela “Kiki”, and the two actresses playing the sisters, Meghann Fahy and Milly Alcock, are also excellent. Very entertaining.

“It’s about me wanting love and light in my life. About me needing to feel like my journey on this planet has been rich and worthwhile and… and full of goodness.”

Five episodes of approximately 60 minutes
