Millie is happily married to Enzo and they have two children. They have just moved to a nice suburb and bought a new house, which cost them a fortune, but it is theirs. However, Millie’s life cannot be that smooth. First, she becomes suspicious of her cleaner, then she suspects that Enzo is having an affair with the charming neighbour, and then her daughter seems to have killed the neighbour’s husband. The truth will eventually come out, but the tension throughout the book is amusing and intense. It’s another enjoyable read, even if the structure of these novels is somewhat repetitive.
