No more trees, and a town that survives only with the help of artificial air, sold by a horrible little man – and he really is horrible, especially his hair! A clever story about capitalism, consumerism, and where we are heading with this beautiful planet. In the end, this is not really a children’s story at all, but one that speaks to everyone and reminds us of what is right under our noses. I felt very touched by this film, though I had already watched it.
“Plant the seed in the middle of town where everyone can see! Change the way things are. I know it may seem small and insignificant, but it’s not about what it is, it’s about what it can become. That’s not just a seed…any more than you’re just a boy.”
