Apart from reading too many books, a lot has happened this year. So let’s go through all the categories and pick out the best. We didn’t  really go to any amazing restaurants. The only one to point out would be the discovery of Le Train Bleu in the Gare de Lion, an incredible place to have such a nice old brasserie… And we even went twice. Bit & Bobs highlights the incredible visit we made to Seoul, too short but amazing. Concerts, with the discovery of Albin de la Simone, so cute, so soft, and the great deception of hearing and seeing Sandor live. I took a number of courses in linocut and other art forms and was really taken by Laurie Santos’ course, The Science of Well-Being, so much to put into practice that I could do it a second time. The exhibitions were many, especially as we went to the Biennale D’Arte in September, with great art in the Arsenale, the Giardini and all over Venice. I saw quite a lot of films and especially rewatched all the Harry Potter films, a nice binge. Few operas, but La Clemenza di Tito, directed by Milo Rau, was quite demanding but grandiose. I wanted to watch all of Downtown Abbey, but only got through the first and second seasons. And the best play was Boule à Neige. I still have no words to describe what I felt and carry it inside me like a Snowball. Another very intense year.
