This film had to be on the Guardian’s “Feed Your Soul” list for me to consider watching it. The story of a self-assured rich little daddy’s girl trying to help people around her that are clueless, clueless about how to dress, how to talk, whom to love. Along with the story, she finally realises that she is as clueless as all of them, especially about love and her feelings. It is not a recent film but so topical regarding teenagers and love and maybe even regarding those who were teenagers in 1995 and looking for love now – a nice moment.

“No, she’s a full-on Monet. It’s like a painting, see ? From far away it’s OK, but up close, it’s a big old mess”
