This reading is powerful. Jay Bernard reads their poetry and especially the poem “Hiss”, which commemorates the death of 13 young black Londoners in the New Cross fire on this day in 1981. They also read “+” and “-“, a son dying, dead, with the police officers’ racism oozing in the poem. They end with “Songbook”, a reggae jam, really cool to listen to.

“I want to crawl between mum and you – in your bed, in your sheets, dad – that’s the only kind of burying I want.”
