The situation seems to be the most banal. A huge comet is coming toward Earth and will hit it and destroy it in about six months. Scientists are more than worried, but the President, played by Meryl Streep, seems to have more important things to do. Following the codes of today, news on social media, popular television programs, celebrities and politics, the film morphs the subject of climate change into a satire, where one can laugh at the most horrible things. The film is funny, yet simultaneously highlights the ambiguous responses of society. A must-see with Cate Blanchett and Leonardo DiCaprio.

“- Teddy, come on ! What choice do I have here ?
– A man’s always got choices, Randall. Sometimes you just gotta choose the good one.”
