Joleen is a British professional tennis player diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. She decides to be cryogenically frozen so as to wake up one day when a cure for her disease has been found. She wakes up in fact only five years later in a world divided between the Steelheads and the Clearheads, the difference between the two being that the latter have been chipped. Joleen, joined by Remi and Kit will travel from Alaska to Seattle and then Montana to try and join the resistance. This podcast has Jessica Barden, the actress of “End of the F***ing World” as the main character. She seems just perfect for the role. The story is amazing, very actual when thinking of the anti-vaccine people that are afraid to be chipped. I however did not understand that I had come to the end of the podcast at the end of episode 5. For me, the story is not finished. A season 2 ?
