This story follows a wealthy bachelor who learns of Imdad Khan’s extraordinary ability to see without using his eyes. Inspired, he develops similar skills through meditation and uses them to win money at casinos. However, he ultimately finds purpose in using his wealth for charitable causes. Due to his abilities, he foresees his death and dies from a pulmonary embolism. The three other stories are The Swan, where a young boy is bullied by two other boys; The Rat Catcher, about a very weird and disgusting man; and Poison, where a man is trapped in his bed because a very poisonous snake has decided to sleep on his belly. The four stories are adapted from Roald Dahl’s short stories. The initial one is the most outstanding, however, all of them are witty, amusing, and flawlessly filmed. And they feature Benedict Cumberbatch…

“Men like Henry Sugar can be found drifting as seaweed all over the world. They’re not particularly bad men, but they’re not good men either. They’re simply part of the decoration.”
