Under Milk Wood is a BBC radio drama that takes place in Llareggub (to be read backward), a fictional small Welsh fishing village. A narrator introduces us to the dreams and thoughts of the inhabitants of this village at night. The story unfolds with the village slowly waking up and going through a typical weekday. A tale of little gossips. This play is an enjoyable listening, full of humour, though often tinged with melancholy and death.

“Why do men think you can pick love up and re-light it like a candle?
Women know when love is over.”
