So, 2021 was a year with 200 books and 33’017 pages. If I refer back to the post on the books of 2020, I think I have to answer that, yes, for this year, 200 was an expression of something… of despair, sadness, solitude, hopelessness and pain. But a year that ended on joy, love and healing.

Anyway, which books stand out from the crowd ? Very difficult because I rated 31 books at five stars, the maximum on LibraryThing and Babelio. I will pick three: Intimacies by Katie Kitamura, Open Water by Caleb Azumah Nelson and Promises by Yuval Robichek. To read without a doubt.
