Elric is Emperor of Meliboné, home to a civilisation in decline. Elric himself was born weak and needs plants to maintain his health. He is continually challenged by his cousin Yyrkoon, who would like to take the throne. During a battle against invaders, Yyrkoon throws his cousin into the sea and sits on the throne, taking as Empress Cymoril, his sister, who was promised to Elric. But Elric has unknown powers and has not said his last word. A story full of dragons, strange creatures, black magic and unknown places. I was captivated.
