Apart from 170 books this year, what else did I do ? It seems there were 262 experiences. Among the restaurants we tried, I have to mention the two restaurants we went to in Bordeaux : Le Quatrième Mur, Etchebest’s restaurant, where we ate at the Table d’Hôte and La Toupina, entirely different, but I will go back to Bordeaux just for this second restaurant. Impossible to go to Bordeaux without climbing the Dune de Pilat, so many souvenirs. I visited two cemeteries, the Cimitero di San Michele and the Père Lachaise, both like independent villages, little houses, trees, incredible. Six concerts, Julien Doré being the one I preferred, twelve theatre plays including The Room by James Thiérée, Chaplin’s grandson, and six operas with a visit to La Fenice to see Il Trovatore. One significant course, a 300H Kundalini Yoga Teacher, making me a 500H Kundalini Yoga Teacher. Thrilled by this achievement. Fourteen exhibitions, most of them amazing, especially those that we saw in Venice during the Biennale but also the Giardino dei Tarocchi of Niki de Saint-Phalle, gigantic, powerful, impressive, in Tuscany in the middle of nowhere. Thirty-seven films, with quite a lot of Tarantino’s and Miyazaki’s. I loved Atonement and Call Me by Your Name, that I had wanted to watch for a long time after having read the books. I was not disappointed by the films. Eleven podcasts, alternating between spooky stories, like Bad Bad Things, and intelligent instructive content, like the second series of Unearthed from the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew. Six series, with En Therapie 2, excellent and Part 1 and Part 2 of Lupin. I am exhausted to realise all the things I did in a year. But happy and proud.
